Zcash [ZEC] Will Soon be Releasing Zcshd 2.0.0
Zcash released its weekly update report on 10th August on its official seminar. In order to put things back in place, the member took a 3-week long sprint. The report for this week shows the team being involved with various development activities in anticipation of the future releases. They also shared the details of the same on Twitter.

The key focus areas for this week for the team of Zcash are:
- The release of Zcashd 2.0.0
- The rebranding of their website
- Sapling and
- A policy to aid set up of Zcash meetings
The release date of Zcashd 2.0.0 is scheduled on Monday, 13th August. The team has stated that there are chances that date is rescheduled to a different date later this week. Furthermore, they went on to say:
“We’ll have more details of what’s included in the release in the release announcement blog.”
The first Sapling that is compatible with the hardcoded Sapling activation height will be Zcashd 2.0.0 as per the reports. Anything and everything related to the development of the updates can be found and followed on their community channel named zcashd-team.
In addition to the above, it was announced by Zcash that they will be releasing a video series called Perspectives. Perspective includes all the video clippings in a series taken at the Zcon0 conference, the community’s first-ever conference
Perspectives on several topics which included governance of protocols, market behavior, forthcoming Zcash protocol upgrade, regulation, challenges that can be faced, the usability of the ecosystem, and privacy issues were discussed by the Zcash community when they sat down to discuss in these pestering issues.
The community member of Zcash will soon be holding a meeting to discuss the possibilities of using Rust for the development of Blockchain.
