Back when the cryptocurrency started out, its prices were lower than 0.003 USD. It was one of the very few coins which had gotten the approval of John McAfee back then.
Tron is a long term Hodl. Those who are flipping it are losing out.

He called TRX the “Coin of the Day” back when he used to mention a cryptocurrency every day to inform people about which cryptocurrencies seemed to him to have the most potential.
Remember when it was reported that oBike, the local bike-sharing operator in Singapore, announced that it would launch its own cryptocurrency, oCoins, in 2018 for allowing users to earn money while they ride their bikes.
The operator had announced that it would be using the TRON platform to officially launch the coins. Its co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer, Edward Chen, had said that the introduction of oCoins would be “an attractive proposition for users to continue riding oBike in more ways than one”. He later added:
“As a tech company, we are dedicated to bringing better value and benefits to our users through constant innovation and mutually beneficial partnerships”
TRON Foundation had earlier partnered with MLG Blockchain Consulting about which, the Founder and CEO of the company said:
“By hosting educational TRON events at universities and tech hubs across the world we will help build the foundation of communities advocating the TRX token and its increasing practicality.”
Remember when TRON Foundation partnered with Gifto back in early December? The partnership with the universal virtual gifting blockchain platform had generated quite a ripple in the industry. Andy Tian, the creator of Gifto, who had been the head of Zynga China and the CEO of Asia Innovation Group (AIG), spoke about the partnership, saying:
“Gifto and TRON are both innovating the content creation space using blockchain technology and together we will be able to offer anyone an alternative to the standard model of content creation ownership and monetization that is available today.”
He later added:
“Very soon, content creators will enjoy the benefit of blockchain technology and we are thrilled to partner with Tron to help make this a reality.”
Justin Sun had also commented on the partnership, saying:
“We are excited to partner with Gifto and Asia Innovations Group to further expand the usage of TRON platform and technology[…]This partnership is putting together two companies that both have successful consumer entertainment apps, and both using blockchain technology to disrupt entire industries in the years to come.”
Remember when TRX had first joined the likes of Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) by becoming one of the top 10 cryptocurrencies in the market in terms of market capitalization? It was on the morning of Jan 4, and the cryptocurrency had shown a 136 percent growth—pushing Dash (DASH) to the 11th place.
The cryptocurrency had grown more than 2000 percent in a major bull-run from mid-December to early 2018, and its entry into the top 10 cryptocurrencies in the market was inevitable.
It isn’t that the cryptocurrency never got criticism. The cryptocurrency was criticized by many in the community, however, it fought back and won hearts. When the cryptocurrency was criticized a lot on Twitter, on Feb 28, Justin Sun informed the public how hard his team worked. According to him, his team works “24 hours a day and 7 days a week.” Since it had two teams back then, “when Beijing is midnight, SF is working; when SF is midnight, Beijing is working; When both is daytime, we are working together.”
Justin Sun hasn’t lost the spirit, and neither has any member of the TRON community. Happy Birthday, TRON!
