Tron and Moshroom Announce Partnership

Tron has entered into a strategic partnership with Moshroom, a Chinese portable smart toilet supplier. The two companies are collaborating on how to use blockchain technology for cross-border remittance using cryptocurrencies.

Tron released a statement that indicated that it is working to improve the bathroom experience to ordinary people around the world by using Moshroom’s innovation in portable smart toilets.

A lot of underdeveloped and developing countries around the world face the problem of insufficient bathroom facilities for the ordinary individual. There are problems with sanitation, access, and pollution. However, Moshroom’s portable toilets that are fitted with flush-free toilet fittings and a solar power system are here to solve the problem.

These toilets don’t need an external supply of water or electricity and come with an intelligent lock, ads lightbox and vending machine for commercial purposes.

Talking about this partnership, Tron’s founder Justin Sun commented,

TRON hopes to help MOSHROOM improve bathroom experience for more ordinary people in developing countries, with a focus on cross-border payment settlement. We would like to make sure that this project continues in an effective and healthy manner with a good business model.

Cosmos Wu, the CEO of Mushroom also expressed the company’s excitement in a statement. He said,

Since currency systems vary from country to country, it’s not an easy job to popularize our portable toilets around the world. Therefore, we are happy to work with TRON, one of the best in the blockchain community, and promote our project with the help of cryptocurrency.

He also said that public toilets are not merely a public welfare project and if they remain limited to non-profit, the problem will not be solved. The company wants to create a business model that provides quality bathroom experience at a low cost to the ordinary citizen, especially in developing countries around the world and seeks Tron’s help in that.

The firms will promote these portable toilets in India and other parts of Southeast Asia, and the payments will be made using blockchain tech.
