Satoshi Nakamoto was Interested in Project Atlas: Justin Sun
The Founder and CEO of Tron Foundation Justin Sun announced on his social media platform that the creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto was interested in Project Atlas.
Justin Sun, the CEO of Tron Foundation announced:
“It seems that Satoshi Nakamoto himself was interested in joining our Atlas project since Nov. 03 2008.”
A Tron and Litecoin enthusiast, William Ward brought to notice that Satoshi Nakamoto, whose identity is still unknown, mentioned about BitTorrent in one of his mailing lists. Nakamoto mentioned that for transferrable PoW token to have a value in terms of money, needs to be transferred among a large network. He quotes BitTorrent as an example for a large network.
Recently, the Tron foundation acquired BitTorrent which is a leading software company. Tron declared itself as one of the ‘largest decentralized Internet ecosystems in the world’ after this acquisition as BitTorrent has a user base of more than 150 million.
At present, BitTorrent is a part of Project Atlas of Tron. The project is ready to improve all the protocols of BitTorrent by making is quicker and lengthening the lifespan of BitTorrent swarms. The team of Tron has set-up the roadmap for the next three months of Project Atlas. Further details regarding this project will be announced on the last day of this month.
As per Justin Sun, this project is going to give access to Tron to surpass Ethereum in becoming one of the most influential blockchain platforms all across the world. The Altruism of BitTorrent will also be improved by Tron. This will further open new doors and possibilities for worldwide payments and online content.
