According to Roger Ver, Bitcoin Cash is Best For Investment

Since the origin of cryptocurrency, Bitcoin has been the frontrunner. It has been the most in the news, sometimes even used as the alternate word for cryptocurrency in daily conversations. However, for some Bitcoin Cash enthusiasts, BCH is the winner for investment purposes. And Roger Ver is one of these enthusiasts who believes in this.

Roger Ver is often dubbed as the Bitcoin Jesus and is often referred to as the the controversial poster child for bitcoin cash. He recently talked to the hosts of CNBC’s Fast Money and discussed his views on the cryptocurrency market, specifically Bitcoin Cash.

@CNBCFastMoney tweeted,

‘Bitcoin Jesus’ aka @rogerkver explains why #BitcoinCash is a better investment than #bitcoin.

He firstly pointed out that Bitcoin has now become an unusable form of digital cash and that BCH is a better alternative. He stated,

BTC, Bitcoin, is no longer, or at least last December, wasn’t usable as commerce as all. The fees became high, the transactions became slow and unreliable, and people like myself and everybody else that was trying to use it for commerce stopped at switched to something else.

However, the response to his views was not necessarily positive.

@SethZero1 tweeted in response to CNBC fast money,

I can barely listen to Ver’s voice anymore. He’s a lying scammer who’s taking advantage of people who don’t know better. He’s dangerous for the crypto community, especially the noobs and #FakeNews Fast Money is just being an enabler. Sad.

@alansilbert tweeted,

Your brand loses more credibility every time you have him on with his misleading commentary and dishonesty.

To express his positive views towards bitcoin cash, he said that something else that people could use could be Bitcoin Cash for the most number of people. However, contrary to Ver’s views critics have pointed out that BCH performed worse than BTC this year.

Ver tells people not to worry about this poor performance and referred to his six years of experience in the cryptocurrency industry for his knowledge. He compared investing to hockey and said that investors should keep an eye on where the puck is going and not where it currently is. He added,

All the adoption, merchants, and business are being built on top of Bitcoin Cash at this point, so in the future, I think BCH is the best from an investment standpoint.

While Ver is a Bitcoin Cash proponet, he encouraged people to diversify their cryptocurrency portfolio. He noted about this,

I hold more Bitcoin Cash then anything else, but I have some Ether, some ZCash, some ZCoin, Dash, Monero and I still hold BTC as well. So a little bit of everything is a good idea, including a bit of Ripple (XRP) and Stellar (XLM). Diversify, diversify, diversify is the name of the game.

Some other tweets in response to this are as follows,

@IamNomad tweeted,

Is 6 cents too expensive for bitcoin cash users ? Bitcoin cash currently takes 1hr 15m to send from exchange to exchange, bitcoin takes under 10m…I wouldn’t call that slow. I wish cnbc would not allow their guests to lie.

@bevernhims88 tweeted,

The better bitcoin? Oh you mean litecoin? Ltc is more btc, than bch.

@VentureCoinist tweeted in response to CNBCFastMoney,

hey @rogerkver

+1 for the hockey reference
-100 for the misleading comments tricking and attempting to trick new people that an alt is bitcoin
