Monitoring Cryptocurrency Portfolios Made Easier with Cheetah Mobile’s New App

Cheetah Mobile, a mobile app development company based in China, announced on June 21 that it’s launching an app that will make it simpler for crypto investors to keep a track of their cryptocurrency portfolios.

Dubbed ‘Coin Master’, the mobile app will be available for both iOS and Android users. According to the announcement, the app will track the real-time price values of cryptocurrencies on more than 100 crypto exchanges. Moreover, after users update their trading histories on the app, it will automatically calculate the overall profit and loss incurred by them.

Dubbed ‘Coin Master’, the mobile app is available for both iOS and Android users. According to the company, investors can either choose to input transaction information manually or link Coin Master with mobile wallets or exchanges on which they store their crypto assets, to update their portfolios. They can input information related to both crypto-to-crypto and fiat-to-crypto transactions.

Edward Sun, senior vice president of Cheetah Mobile, said the new app allows crypto investors to “check the status of their crypto assets anytime, anywhere, as per their convenience”.

The launch of Coin Master follows the company’s entry into the cryptocurrency space in January this year, when it announced the release of its wallet for Android and iOS users.

Cheetah Mobile is a subsidiary of Kingsoft, one of the largest and leading software companies based in China. The company, publicly traded on the NYSE (New York Stock Exchange), was rebranded in 2010 from Kingsoft Security to Cheetah Mobile. Lei Jun, the famous Chinese entrepreneur and founder of electronics manufacturer Xiaomi, is the firm’s vice chairman.
