BitTorrent Elected; BitDogSR Runs for TRON Super Representative Elections

BitTorrent announced a while ago that it has been elected as one of the 27 Super Representatives of TRON.

The torrent client and sync and share software company had been acquired by TRON Foundation recently. BitTorrent has more than 100 million active users worldwide. It has one of the top-rated apps on Google Play and other products which includes BitTorrent Play (iOS), uTorrent Web, and desktop clients for Mac and PC.

In their tweet, they mentioned that they are looking forward to playing their role “in the network stability and reliability.” However, the community is unsure whether any of that would actually happen or not since the move looks like TRON Foundation simply giving preference to its own company.

The P2P file-sharing platform would see considerable income as a Super Representative which would benefit the platform, as well as TRON Foundation whose founder, Justin Sun, had recently been elected as a Super Representative.

Speaking of the Super Representative Elections, a lot of new entries have been coming up. Justin Sun recently announced that BitDogSR would be running for Super Representative as well.

BitDogSR would, if elected, become the 66th member of the TRON Super Representative community on the network—a community which is expanding quite quickly. The company has been a part of TRON Foundation for quite a long time and has been a supporter of the foundation ever since its inception days.

The goal of BitDogSR is to spread the foundation’s philosophy all around the world and also to assist the community with governance ordeals. It would help them find creative solutions to the problems faced by the community. Since it has already been supporting TRON for a long time, getting to be a Super Representative would only benefit both further.
